• I wouldn't be too quick to sack this bloke yet if you're after a maiden, here's why.


• I have been informed early on that he doesn't lile wet tracks at all.


• Stable have always maintained he just needs time to furnish and this isn't what the client's business model is all about.


• Watch his debut run, (link above) and you'll notice at the conclusion of the race over 1400m, he starts to warm up as they cross the line. Sure he got beaten 13.L,but he was a margin abbreviator and it was his 1st start and on synthetic, to dodger any tracks with give in them.


• 2nd start was on synthetic at Ballarat (30/6) stepping up to 1500m beaten 12.6L and not really watming up at any stage, yet again, not a flogging.


• I always forgive 2nd up runs if a horse is showing it might be able to stick on over a trip, also worth considering he may not like synthetic tracks, as well as disliking wet tracks which we've already been informed by connections.


• For those reasons above, i reckon he's wortth a punt somewhere in weaker jusridiction than Packenham / Ballarat type meetings and on firmer going. Connections are primarily H.K traders & it doesn't suit them to go on with him any longer. Same strategy on the stack of winners we've previously sold for them!
  
  Stable notes: "Doesn’t like wet tracks - wants more time and ground. Not there mentally and physically yet. He’s shown flashes of ability in trackwork - he's been sound in training 1st run suggested what we'd thought all along, that he’ll improve over ground. Doesn’t suit owner".
