  • Those who have followed our past sales may remember Tee Galleria, who sold for just $300 to Darwin. After one run here on a heavy track, he’s hardly missed a placing since heading north, winning his maiden first-up there (2nd prep) and taking his earnings to over $45,000. It’s also a good example of the type of seller we’re dealing with. He has never been afraid to move horses on when he feels the time is right, and many have gone on to win plenty of races for their new owners. The horse currently on offer is no different. As always, buyers should judge the horse on its own merits, but Tee Galleria is another reminder that opportunities can still exist when horses change hands.

  • Tee Eight made his debut as a three-year-old, over 1,400 metres, where he finished a promising fourth on debut. He then stepped up to 1,600 metres, recording third and second placings at his next two starts, before finishing second again three runs later over 2,000 metres at Moe. He then broke through for a well-deserved maiden victory over 2,350 metres at Warrnambool—a circuit widely regarded as one of the more difficult country tracks on which to win.

  • He quickly showed he was better than maiden grade when, at his very next start, he stepped up to a Benchmark 62 over 2,500 metres at Cranbourne and was narrowly beaten less than half a length in a $40,000 race. He rounded out his preparation with a respectable effort in a stronger $50,000 Benchmark 64 over 2,400 metres at Bendigo before being spelled. Overall, it was a successful first campaign, producing a maiden win and consistent form from seven starts, including a fourth, a third and three second placings.

  • After a well-deserved spell and three jump-outs, Tee Eight resumed over 1,500 metres at Bendigo in a Benchmark 62 (25th June) before stepping up to 1,700, 2,000 and 2,200 metres. Unfortunately, his preparation coincided with a run of heavy winter tracks, conditions that never really allowed him to show his best. Despite that, he was far from disgraced (only beaten 5.22L 4th August run) and has come through the campaign with only four runs under his belt, leaving plenty of residual fitness to work with. In my view, a short freshen-up and a return on firmer ground could see him improve quickly. He strikes me as the type of horse that could be competitive not only in provincial Victoria but in virtually any state, making him an attractive prospect for buyers looking for a genuine staying-type opportunity.

  • All the hard work has been done folks, over to you now!

Stable Notes: "Nice style of horse. Haven’t had any issues with him. Swims and floats well as well has enjoyed the treadmill. Last time we weighed him he was around 486kg – approx. He's close to 16hh, or thereabouts. Slow maturer to date who’ll do well in weaker company where there’s distance races. DISCLOSURE **Had a right front fetlock joint chip removed in 2024 before he ever raced and we've had no issues with him post procedure**".  Main pic as of May 2026.

$600, or higher, opens bidding and on the market.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ:

auto bid v bid directly
You can "AUTO BID" your max bid and the platform will automatically bid on your behalf, to your max, without anyone EVER knowing your highest bid, starting at the minimum increment of $100 above the current highest offer (over $3000 it's $200). Check though, as "BID DIRECTLY" bids will override an AUTO BID, should the same bid be placed (or closest to). i.e  Your limit is $10k and you auto bid that amount, someone chimes in manually at $10k also (or closest to, $9900), their bid, being the BID DIRECTLY bid, will count over your AUTO BID bid, so be mindful.

when extra time "might" be added
(P.S ALWAYS remember to refresh your browser when monitoring or bidding, MAINLY the last minute of the countdown. Also check your bid ID, in some instances in the last minute, bidders have thought they're still in front when they're not.  (EXTRA TIME will be re-added continuously if there's a bid placed inside last 60 seconds - until no further bids within last 60 seconds, this is why it's important to REFRESH browser on EVERY 1st bid back inside 1 minute, to see extra time added & displayed to countdown clock). This applies even with 1 second to go, as the platform may take just over 1 second to process bid before close.
